Socks pattern - Bas Fondants

This model is an original design by Louise Robert for Biscotte Yarns. Fondants socks are knitted by the toes-up and the technique used to knit the heel was popularized on the blog in 2006 and this is the reason why this type of heel is known as the "Fleegle heel”.

Fun pattern

I am almost finished with my bas fondants socks. The pattern is well written. I opted to just put the design on the outside and back of each sock.

Interesting knit

I love the cable that doesn't need a cable needle. The heel is perfect for selfstriping yarn
