This model is an original design by Louise Robert for Biscotte Yarns. Fondants socks are knitted by the toes-up and the technique used to knit the heel was popularized on the blog fleegleblog.blogspot.com in 2006 and this is the reason why this type of heel is known as the "Fleegle heel”.

In addition to your free sock pattern, you will need the following to knit this pair of socks:

Biscotte Yarns - Bis-sock 4 mini-skeins of 25g for a total of 100g, shown in Fondants colourway.

Nice little cable pattern but the heel is not my bag

Love the dual mini-cable running up the sides, but the heel, alas, is not for me. Frogging and researching a more curvaceous, less triangular style heel.

Fun pattern

I am almost finished with my bas fondants socks. The pattern is well written. I opted to just put the design on the outside and back of each sock.
