Description

In special collaboration with Bérangère Cailliau, we are proud to present this splendid design: the Salouen shawl.

This shawl is worked laterally in brioche stitch, combining a series of increases and decreases to create transverse, moving and flowing lines. Made with the DK PURE from Louise Robert Yarns collection, this shawl will keep you warm in all occasions!

Salouen (Salween in english) is a Southeast Asian river flowing from the Tibetan Plateau south into the Andaman Sea. Throughout most of its course, it runs swiftly through rugged mountain canyons. Its basin, narrow and sparsely populated, is characterized by a very rich biodiversity that is now threatened by the construction projects of numerous hydroelectric dams that disrupt the ecosystem. In addition to the shawl pattern, you will need the following material to knit the Salouen (also available as knitting kit (yarn and pattern) right here!)

Gauge: 15 stitches and 19 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm in brioche stitch and needle 4.5 mm, gauge washed and blocked.

Size: 235 cm wide and 67 cm high (at the highest point).

This pattern is available in digital PDF format. Add it to your cart and follow all the steps to complete your order. A link to download the pattern will appear on the final screen of your order and will also be emailed to you. Happy knitting!
