Discover the beautiful Ornement Japonais Hat featured in the 2021 Advent Calendar and created by PatricKnits!
"This pattern was inspired by the Japanese culture which has always fascinated me, but unfortunately, to this day I have never visited Japan. Among my favorite films, I count "The Last Samurai", a film based on a true story that tells in a fictionalized way the revolt of the last samurai against the imperial government, which began in January of the year 9 of the Meiji era.
Filmed in a historical context where honor and pride guided the life of the Samurai, it is with these same values that the Samurai perpetuated that you will have to knit this pattern, that is to say in a zen and proud spirit. This hat is also inspired by Japanese knitting patterns." - patricKnits
