Description

“Oakworth” is an original pattern by Jayalakshmi M H for Biscotte Yarns ♥ A lacy cowl knitted with our tweeded yarn HAGRID. This cowl is worked back and forth from the bottom up beginning with the garter border, then the lace pattern, followed by plain stockinette stitch.

It is available in three sizes – small, medium, large. The small sized version can be used as a cowl or capelet for kids and a cowl for adults. The medium sized one will function as a regular single loop cowl or capelet for adults, or a double wrapped cowl for kids. The large sized one will function as a long, loopy cowl for adults or a double wrapped cowl for adults.

The inspiration for this design has been the acorn lattice stitch pattern with a beautiful raised, grid-like lattice structure. Acorns or oak nuts are from the oak tree, hence the name Oakworth.
