Description

Here is a simple and delicate short sleeve sweater as I like them with a nice neckline in the front and a touch of lace on the sleeves and each side of the body.

When I saw the knitted result, I decided to name it Gabrielle in memory of my grandmother who was sweet, elegant and refined.

This sweater is knitted from the top-down according to the "contiguous method”, which is a way to starts knitting flat at the neckline, in back and forth rows, and increases to form the shoulders and then the top of the sleeves. When the front of the garment has reached the required number of stitches, the work is closed to finish in the round.

Beautiful

The lace pattern looks more difficult than it is. I have almost completed the body, and even not blocked, it looks beautiful.

Love the yarn, the color, the feel

As previously stated, I think I might just be the queen of projects yet to be initiated. I'm almost finished with a pullover - 1 sleeve to go. Then I can in good conscience start one of my waiting BIscotte projects. Stay tuned!
