Description

Discover the beautiful sock pattern designed by Louise Robert for the July 2021 mystery sock club. This pattern was originally knitted with a Bis-Sock yarn from Exclusive Color.

This pattern is worked from the top down with a heel flap. The stitch pattern used in this design creates an effect similar to the herring-bone stitch that makes the stripes of the Self Striped yarn ripple for an nice effect that stands out from the crowd!

In addition to the pattern, you will need the following materials to knit the Big Bold Foliage socks:

Gauge : 34 stitches = 10 cm in stockinette stitch

Size : adult one size

Circumference (unstretched) : 16 cm; 6 ¼ in.

Foot length : adjustable.

NOTE : Like the chevron, this is a stitch pattern that compresses the knitting and has little stretch. As a result, the number of stitches to cast-on will seem excessive, but don't worry: your sock won't be too big! Also, be sure to check your gauge for the reasons stated above.

This model is also available in kit form, right HERE!

This pattern is offered in a numeric PDF format: add it to your cart and follow every step to complete your order: a link to download your pattern will be provided once the order is completed and you will also get this link by email (make sure to check your spams if you can't find the email in your inbox)

love the pattern

wonderful unusual design that works perfectly with the amazing Biscotte colorways. Working on first sock now and leg portion looks great. Really wish there was a toe up version - I really prefer to not have ends to weave in on the toe and was too lazy to adapt to make toe up.
