Gilet Flow | Knitting Pattern
Discover the new pattern offered by Louise Robert knitted with the Super-Sock collection and her latest Kid Silk collection!
This pattern was inspired by a store-bought vest that my mom is particularly fond of. I promised to write her a handmade version in which I had fun inserting several patterns, colors and textures! A perfect project to let your imagination run wild and use up your leftover yarn! Enjoy!
In addition to the pattern, you need the following materials to knit the Gilet Flow :
- LOUISE ROBERT COLLECTION - Super Sock yarn [75% merino sw, 25% nylon; 400 m /100g] : Chopin (A) – 75 g, Troubled Water (B) – 90 g, Écume (C) – 90 g, Loch (D) – 70 g
- LOUISE ROBERT COLLECTION - Kid Silk yarn [75% kid mohair, 25% silk; 210 m /25g] : Green Grows (E) – 20 g, Écume (F) – 10 g, Traviata (G) – 20 g, Air du temps (H) – 20 g
- Circular needles of 4 mm; cable length of 100 cm; 40" or + (this project is not knitted in the round but requires a needle that can support a large number of stitches) or size needed to obtain gauge.
- Stitch holder or waste yarn to put stitches on hold.
- Tapestry needle
KNITTING KITS to make the Gilet Flow are available HERE!
GAUGE : 22 sts = 10 cm on 4 mm worked with Super Sock held double with Kid Silk in stockinette stitch, before blocking. It's important to check your gauge to avoid running out of yarn or end with a project that's too small or too big!
