Get now the kit to knit the new Gilet Flow pattern by Louise Robert!

This pattern was inspired by a store-bought vest that my mom is particularly fond of. I promised to write her a handmade version in which I had fun inserting several patterns, colors and textures! A perfect project to let your imagination run wild and use up your leftover yarn!  Enjoy!

This kit includes:

In addition to the kit, you need the following materials to knit the Gilet Flow:

  • Circular needles of 4 mm; cable length of 100 cm; 40" or + (this project is not knitted in the round but requires a needle that can support a large number of stitches) or size needed to obtain gauge.
  • Stitch holder or waste yarn to put stitches on hold.
  • Tapestry needle

GAUGE : 22 sts = 10 cm on 4 mm worked with Super Sock held double with Kid Silk in stockinette stitch, before blocking. It's important to check your gauge to avoid running out of yarn or end with a project that's too small or too big!

SIZE : Adult one size (Refer to the schematic at the end of this document for more informations about the final dimensions).

An amount of 7$ per kit sold will be given to the Douglas Institute Foundation for Mental Health: https://fondationdouglas.qc.ca/

This pattern is offered in a numeric PDF format: add it to your cart and follow every step to complete your order: a link to download your pattern will be provided once the order is completed and you will also get this link by email (make sure to check your spams if you can't find the email in your inbox)

HOW TO WASH HAND-DYED YARNS
With the growing popularity of natural fibers and wool, knowing how to wash your woolies is a very hot topic! Since we grew up in the era of synthetic fibers and the washing machine, the return to nature imposes a little reminder of the basic rules.
