This pattern was designed and knitted during a visit to my father who lives in Brooklyn, Nova Scotia.  I hope you will enjoy knitting this project inspired by the beauty of Nova Scotia.

In addition to the knitting pattern, you'll need the following material to knit this project :

  • 1 skeins of each color Biscotte Yarns - Hagrid colors used: Charbon, Vert Biscotte and Vanille. You will have enough to knit the hat, a pair of mittens and still have enough leftovers to knit a matching neck warmer :)
  • 4.5 mm needles | US#7 or size needed to obtain gauge

To download this pattern, you need to create a free account : a link will appear at the end of your order and you will also get a it by email after you placed your 0$ order (look into your spam folder if you can't find the email in our inbox).  If you need help to order our free knitting pattern, you can find illustrated instructions here.  Thank you for your interest in Biscotte Yarns ♥

HOW TO WASH HAND-DYED YARNS
With the growing popularity of natural fibers and wool, knowing how to wash your woolies is a very hot topic! Since we grew up in the era of synthetic fibers and the washing machine, the return to nature imposes a little reminder of the basic rules.

Wonderful Sheep Hat!

This was a great pattern! Easy to follow and adorable. I was able to easily modify it to a child’s size. I didn’t make the mittens but I’m sure they are just as straightforward. Thank you!
