Thistle Bud Shawl - KNITTING PATTERN
Here it is, the beautiful THISTLE BUD shawl by Nadya Stallings knitted with Dk Pure yarn from the PatricKnits collection.
This asymmetrical accessory has triangular shape and is worked from corner to side, beginning with few stitches and a series of increases. The stitch pattern is a combination of simple Lace Motifs and texture.

YARN
- PatricKnits Signature - DK Pure (90% Merino Superwash and 10% Silk, 260 m / 284 yds, 115 g / 4 oz) in Slate Blue: 2 skeins.
NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
- Size 4 mm / US 6 straight needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
- Size 4 mm / US 6 circular needle with cable length of 80 cm / 32 in. or size needed to obtain gauge.
- 7 stitch markers
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate
Skills needed: Basic lace knitting: yo, ssk, k2tog, increasing into lace pattern.
GAUGE : 19.5 sts & 27.5 rows = 10 cm / 4 in. worked in 17-st Thistle Bud Pattern after blocking.
Gauge is not crucial, but it will affect finished size and yardage requirements.

Finished Measurements : Width: 127 cm / 50 in and Height: 82 cm / 32.5 in after blocking
NOTES : The increased sts at the end of RS rows are worked into the Thistle Bud pattern as described in text or shown on charts.
