About Evelyn Siatra

Evelyn Siatra developed an early love for "all things handmade" when her mother taught her to crochet, knit, sew, and embroider. She graduated from making doll clothes to scarves and sweaters and loves experimenting with different techniques and materials.

Evelyn tends towards intarsia and stranding, and like many knitters, she started designing her own patterns when she couldn't find the ones she wanted to knit. In 2015, Evelyn won the "People's Choice" and "First Runner-Up" awards in the "Mohair South Africa/Vogue Knitting - Warmth of Mohair Blanket Design Competition." It was a great honor for her to receive recognition for her work, and it has inspired her to keep pursuing her passion.

Evelyn resides in Athens, Greece, with her son and two cats. She finds
inspiration in the beauty of her surroundings and the rich cultural
history of Greece, and she is excited to continue creating and designing for years to come.
