This free sock pattern is an original design by Tracey Adams for the Mystery Stockings Knitting Club in March 2020 and we are happy to offer it to you for free now! ♥
Eanrin is a Gaelic name meaning ‘handsome’ perfect for the handsome sock design that will show off any yarns. Eanrin is a sock pattern with an alternate construction. The combination of alternate knit direction and the beautiful selfstriping yarn work together to create this fun sock suitable for both males and females. In addition to the pattern, you will need the following material to knit the EANRIN socks:
- Biscotte Yarns – Bis-sock (85% merino sw, 15% nylon, 400m; 434 yards per 100g skein). Shown in self-striping color Fancy daisy.
- Needles & accessories 2.5mm (US1.5) double pointed needles 25cm/12” or 80cm/32” circular (or size needed to obtain gauge).
- Stitch markers (4) and removable stitch markers (4).
Sizes | XS (S, M, L) for foot circumference of 17.5 (20, 22.5, 25) cm.
Gauge | 32 sts & 40 rows = 10cm/4 inches in stocking stitch knit flat.
