It has 2 in-set pockets on the front. The funnel-neck sweater has modified drop-shoulder design. The rolled edgings are worked in St st with a contrast color. The garment is knitted bottom-up in pieces and then sewn together.

GAUGE
25 sts and 27 rows = 10 cm (4'') worked in color-work patt using size 4 mm (US 6) needles.
23 sts and 27 rows = 10 cm (4'') worked in St st using size 4 mm (US 6) needles.
NOTE
Work last st of each row with both strands, to have an even stranding of the yarns. Read each section through out before beginning to knit. Sloped BO To prevent “stair steps” from forming between consecutive BO rows, use the sloped BO method as follows: bind off as usual on the first row to define the initial part of the slope, then work to end of row. Turn and work the next row up to the last st. Turn work so that this unworked st becomes the first st on the RH needle. Sl the first st on the LH needle to the RH needle pwise, then BO the unworked st by lifting it over the sl st and off the needle. Color-work pattern 1 (12-sts rep) Work according to chart. Work as many repeats as possible across the stitches in the chosen size, and when repeating charts, always repeat Rows 1 – 6. Color-work pattern 2 (8-sts rep) Work according to chart. Work as many repeats as possible across the stitches in the chosen size, and when repeating charts, always repeat Rows 1 – 8.
