This hand-dyed artisanal yarn is no ordinary knitting yarn: the designer behind the knitting patterns Louise Robert Design meticulously created this beautiful collection.

It's by studying the color pallets that represent her life and career over the years that designer Louise Robert was able to imagine all of the variety available in these hand-dyed artisanal yarns.

YORK is a city in the north of England founded by the Romans, and one of the major cities of the Anglo-Saxon kingdom. In addition to its historical monuments dating back to the Middle Ages, this city still enforces medieval law. A law allowing the murder of a Scotsman who carries bow and arrow within the city walls is still permitted to this day. Rich in its Roman, Celtic and Nordic history, York is exactly the type of city that excites my curiosity and that I would love to visit one day. - Louise

Beautiful!

I like the Super Sock very much. Not as tight a twist as Bis-sock, but it's still pretty sock perfect! This is an absolutely gorgeous tonal color in a shade of lavender blue that I just love. I have a sock pattern I'll be doing with this in the fall once Supersock World Championships is over with. I like Louse Roberts yarns a lot.

So beautiful!

This yarn is so nice! Soft yet with a firm hand - perfect for socks and shawls. Not sure what this will become yet, but I had to have it! The color looks more distinctly coral and orange in the picture - IRL, it's a lot softer contrast. Gorgeous colors none the less!
