Do you share the same love for animals as we do? After a great demand, here is the perfect jacket for your pet.
In addition to the pattern, you will need the following materials to knit the Wisky's sweater:
- Louise Robert Yarn – Merino Worsted [100% merino sw, 200 m / 100 g] 1 (1, 1, 1, 2) ▪ (2, 3, 3, 4) skein(s) or 60 (89, 141, 200, 254) ▪ (332, 410, 541, 700) meters of worsted weight yarn.
- Circular needles of 5 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge) and 4.5 mm (or one size smaller than the size needed to obtain gauge)
- Tapestry needle
- Stitch markers.
GAUGE - 18 sts & 24 rows = 4" (10cm) in stiockinette stitch with 5mm.
SIZES - 2XS (XS, S, M, L) ▪ (XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL) ***Please refer to the size chart at the end of this document.
NOTE Since the length of the body is easily adjustable, I advise you to choose the size that best fits the circumference of the chest.
The diagram on the left will be used as a reference throughout the project and the arrow indicates the direction of the knitting.
Good Knitting! ♥
At first I had trouble with the cable pattern and I managed to figurer it out, I am almost finished and it's coming together nicely! Thank you!
The pattern was easy to follow, including using short rows for increasing the chest area. The openings for the leash and buttonholes are easy to do.
I appreciate this pattern a great deal. There are a number of my neighbors who have little dogs. I, myself, no longer have dogs, but I still love them. Our climate is very warm, but there are still chilly winter days. This pattern will allow me to make up some little sweaters for my pup friends. The bigger fur babies get scarves.
Pattern is well-written and easy to follow. You can fit the sweater as you knit it for a perfect result.
Comes together quick. Easy to follow and adapt when needed. Fits dachshund well and that’s not easy to find!
