SOUS-BOIS, or undergrowth, is the short forest vegetation that grows between the ground and the bottom branches of the trees. For me, the undergrowth represents calmness, freshness, and the smell of grass, moss and bark that I love to breathe in during my walks through the woods. It was like “buttah”. Gliding effortlessly through my hands as yarnovers were made and loops were created. The colors surprised the eye with the different hues creating their own magic. This colorway was absolutely delightful to see in the product🧶
I originally purchased this yarn for another project but changed my mind, and I am so glad I did! I just finished the first of what will be two throw pillow covers to go with my white and blue living room furniture. Irish Girl is the perfect color and feel for the pillow. No knots anywhere in the two skeins I used. Some dye released in wet blocking before I seamed the sides, but color remained glorious! I am very pleased with this yarn!
