Get Louise Robert's new shawl knitted with Paintbox Caladium.
Like a river flowing down in a quiet roll, this delicate design is knitted from one wave to the next, cradled by a gradient of colors that evolve from beginning to end.
In addition to the pattern, you will need the following materials to knit the Rolling on the River shawl:
- Biscotte Yarns – : Paintbox gradient yarn set; contains a collection of 6 mini skeins of 50g of Bis-Sock yarn (85% Merinos Superwash and 15% Nylon, 200 m / 219 yds) in color Caladium
- 3.5 mm (US #4) Circular needles (or size needed to obtain gauge); cable length of 80 cm or +
- Tapestry needle
- Stitch markers if you want to separate the repeats of the pattern.
GAUGE : 28 stitch= 10 cm; 4 in over lace pattern, after blocking.
ATTENTION : Gauge is not critical for this pattern. However, please note that a change in gauge may result in different finished size and yarn requirements.
FINAL SIZE AFTER BLOCKING : With = 47 cm; 18 in and length = 180 cm; 70 in.
NOTE : You should identify your 6 colors with letters: A, B, C, D, E and F in the order in which you want them to appear in your shawl.
This pattern is offered as a PDF document. You must add the pattern to your cart, follow the steps to check out & a link to download the pattern will be emailed to you ♥

Haven't started yet, but pattern instructions are clearly laid out and seem very easy to understand. Looking forward to knitting it up.
Absolutely love the yarn and colour. Thank you
Beautiful yarn! I love the colors and know I will love knitting the shawl! It is still in line to be started! Thanks for the beautiful possibilities!
Easy to read and really pretty pattern that works well in this yarn or in anything else similar.
Love this looks like Bis-sock yarn Hydrangea and Bis-sock yarn Poudreuse are mixed on would be creating a tropical ocean shawl. or falling leaves
Bis-Sock Metamorph Organic and Bis-sock yarn Bonfire (Feu de Joie)
maybe even Bis-sock yarn Green Gables with Bis-sock yarn Vert Biscotte then again Bis-sock yarn Sweet Dreams and Bis-Sock ZIGGY all might creaye a new since of balance.
