The Pretty in Pleats tank has been inspired by one of my favourite knit sweaters. It was a sweater that I knit a few years ago but kept reaching for and never wanted to put away for the warmer months. Knit with Cheval Blanc’s Ambre yarn gives this tank a beautiful drape! - Andrea
Cheval Blanc Ambre – 70% Bamboo, 30% Cotton. 105 m/115 yds (sample uses: 030) - 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins
GAUGE | 26sts and 32 rows = 10 cm (4”) using larger needles on Stockinette Stitch
SIZES | XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL)
Finished Bust Circumference – 32 (34, 36.5, 40, 43, 47) inches.
The Pretty in Pleats tank is knit bottom up in the round and then separates at the arm opening and knit back and forth. There are extra stitches for the front to accommodate decreasing for the pleats. The shoulder straps are binded off using the 3 needle bind off. Stitches are picked up for the neckline and the arm openings for a more polished look. The tank is more roomy around the mid section since there is no waist shaping. The sample is knit in size XS (32) and the mid section is still very flowy.

I’m loving the pattern so far. I had a little trouble with how the pleat row was written but thanks to others who have knit it I got it figured out. I can’t wait to be able to wear it!
Great pattern with clear instruction.
I haven't started it yet!
I bought the pattern and yarn to make my daughter a Christmas gift. I have not even started it! The yarn is beautiful, and the pattern looks to be well written. I can give a better review after I have knit the top.
