This hand-dyed artisanal yarn is no ordinary knitting yarn: the designer behind the knitting patterns Louise Robert Design meticulously created this beautiful collection.
It's by studying the color pallets that represent her life and career over the years that designer Louise Robert was able to imagine all of the variety available in these hand-dyed artisanal yarns.
POUDING-CHÔMEUR is a traditional Quebecois and Acadian dessert dating back to the economic crisis of 1929. I am particularly fond of it, especially when my brother in law prepares it – his is the absolute best! I remember having diabetes during one of my pregnancies and the first thing I asked for when I left the delivery room was pouding-chomeur! - Louise

If you love to knit with Biscotte Yarns, you will fall head over heels with this artisanal, hand-dyed DK Pure yarn by Louise Robert Design. Whether you are knitting a scarf, a shawl or a sweater, there's nothing better than a beautifully crafted yarn designed by a passionate knitter for knitting enthusiasts.
DK pure is an exceptional yarn. I love the way it feels when I knit with it. It is a wonderful and soft yarn to wear. The sweater I knit in DK pure is elegant and just beautiful. I was expecting the gold color to be a bit more vibrant, what I saw online was not quite what the gold looked like when delivered. However, that was more my computer’s issue. Other DK pure yarn colors have been stunning works of art!
The color is beautiful and worked well with the other two dk pure colors I had chosen to use for the shift cowl knitting pattern. Dk pure is such a wonderful yarn to knit with.
The cherry pie color is a beautiful red and pure dk is so soft and is one of my favorite yarn bases.
I went to our art museum and saw a special display about fabrics from India. I had an inspiration to try and coordinate some colors I saw in the fabrics by knitting the shift cowl. This is a color I would have never thought of using but it worked so well with two other colors from the dk pure which is one of my favorite bases.
The yarn is really nice but the colors were not as pretty as in the ad photo.
Disappointed. But I should know better by now.
