This hand-dyed artisanal yarn is no ordinary knitting yarn: the designer behind the knitting patterns Louise Robert Design meticulously created this beautiful collection.

It's by studying the color pallets that represent her life and career over the years that designer Louise Robert was able to imagine all of the variety available in these hand-dyed artisanal yarns.

La mort de Sardanapale (The Death of Sardanapalus) is an iconic painting from the Romantic movement, created in 1827 by Eugène Delacroix. In this piece, the French artist depicts a scene from the drama Sardanapalus, a work by the English poet Lord Byron. The vibrant red that emanates from this painting carries a profound emotional charge, and it is in tribute to this symbolic canvas that I chose the name of this color. - 𝑳𝒐𝒖𝒊𝒔𝒆
