I bought the Highland Hug kit because I loved the pattern (free!) and the yarn and especially that color of red. I made the cowl in 2 days in the evening, just in time for the cold weather. So soft against your skin and a looser fit. Perfect.
Love the simplicity of the pattern but it creates an interesting texture for the eye to follow . Fun fun fun knit .
I had a special skein of yarn and this pattern will show it off nicely. I got it started before all the Holiday chaos got started and I hope to get back to it soon. It is a fun knit and easy to do while talking or watching TV. I really enjoy the pattern and I want to wear it this winter!
