The Noro Heart Blanket features blocks of intarsia hearts knitted in passionate, colorful tones of Kureyon yarn. Worked in neutral colors, the backgrounds evoke a landscape of sand and sky.
One-row garter-stitch borders are picked up and knit along each edge after the blocks have been seamed.
The Heart Blanket kits come in 4 different kits and each kit includes 19 balls of Kureyon [100% wool / 109 yard / 100 m] of 50 g each, a brown paper bag and a free copy of the pattern
Kit A: 7 Kureyon balls #2636, 6 Kureyon balls #4256 & 6 Kureyon balls #149
Kit B: 7 Kureyon balls #3196, 6 Kureyon balls #3446 & 6 Kureyon balls #377
Kit C: 7 Kureyon balls #4376, 6 Kureyon balls #4216 & 6 Kureyon balls #393
Kit D: 7 Kureyon balls #4296, 6 Kureyon balls #3976 & 6 Kureyon balls #428
This pattern is fun and easy to knit, and making individual squares makes it very portable. The only thing I'd like to change is that the lightly twisted yarn is easy to break when I least expect it. But, a spit splice, and I'm back in business!
