The Illusionist | Free Sock Pattern
This sock pattern is a design by Louise Robert for the Biscotte Mystery Sock Club of November 2017 and we are happy to offer it for FREE!
This model is called The Illusionist because it seems to be knitted in Fairisle but it’s not! This is a simple "magic trick" very easy to achieve by slipping stitches in some strategic places! This is a perfect pattern to play with self-striping yarns: you will get a spectacular effect with contrasting colors!!
In addition to the pattern, you will need the following material to knit the Illusionist socks:
♦ 2 skeins of Biscotte Yarns | 50g of Bis-Sock Self-Striping (shown in « Shadow » exclusive color) and 50g of Lumos self-striping (shown in «Burning Love » exclusive color).
♦ Circular needles or DPN of 2.5 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge)
♦ 1 tapestry needle
Gauge: 32 sts = 10 cm (4 po) in stockinette stitch
Size (circumference): small•medium (large•x-large). Foot length is adjustable.
Pattern is available as a PDF numeric file. Simply add it to your cart and place a $0 order and you will get a link to download your pattern by email. Enjoy!!
