Discover the timeless Four Season shawl by Laura Whinttington. This pattern is knitted with Super-Sock yarn from the Louise Robert Collection.
"This shawl was inspired by paint being mixed on an artist’s palette. Every time the colours meet new nuances appear. It is a sideways triangular shawl knitted in garter ridge stitch."- Laura Wittington
In addition to the knitting pattern, you will need the following materials to knit the Four Season shawl :
- Louise Robert Yarn – Super-Sock (75% Merino Superwash and 5% Nylon, 400 m / 437 yds, 100g) in colourway Pistachio Ice-cream; 2 (3) skeins.
- 3.75 mm (US 5) circular needle at least 100 cm (39 inches) long.
- Tapestry needle
GAUGE : 24 sts and 36 rows to 10 cm square (4x4 inches) measured over pattern stitch after blocking.
NOTE : Gauge is not critical for this project. A loose fabric is desirable. But note that a different gauge will affect the quantity of yarn needed for the project
