To celebrate the launch of her new yarn collection KID SILK, Louise Robert is pleased to offer you this free hat pattern: the DIAPHANE model!
To knit this pattern, I used a yarn that produces stripes from the PatricKnits collection that I doubled with a very fine mohair yarn.
The mixture of the two yarns produces a fluffy result where the colors blend together in a diaphanous effect that is as soft to look at as it is to touch.
The cable stitch pattern of this model is perfect to practice the technique of knitting cables without using a cable needle. Discover this method by watching our video tutorial: https://youtu.be/sJAx5a4oofQ
IN ADDITION TO THIS FREE HAT PATTERN, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIAL TO KNIT THE DIAPHANE HAT:

I used my 2ply handspun & 3mm needles. A easy knit, Thankyou.

This is a beautiful hat. The pattern is easy to follow, and will look great with many types of yarn. Thank you!
This is a wonderful pattern. Love the color combination possibilities. Also a chance to brush up on my somewhat limited knitting skills. Thank you.
Very nice pattern with unique cable placements. The patterned yarn shown works well with this hat design. Thank you, Biscotte, your patterns are amazing!
