YARN
- Louise Robert Collection – Super Sock [75% merino, 25% nylon; 400 m / 437 yds; 100 g /3.5 oz], 4 skeins in color Inverness.
YOU WILL ALSO NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIAL:

Circular needle Size 3.25 mm / US 3 with cable length of 60 cm / 24 in. or size needed to obtain gauge.
- Circular needle Spare size 3.25 mm / US 3 (or smaller) with cable length of 60 cm / 24 in. or longer (for grafting).

MEASUREMENTS
Width – 49.5 cm / 19.5 in.
Length – 221 cm / 87 in.
GAUGE
25 sts & 35 rows = 10 cm / 4 in. in Diagonal Cable pattern after blocking.
NOTES
This rectangular stole is knitted back and forth in rows in two halves. Each half is worked from the cast-on to the center of the stole. After blocking each half, the two halves are grafted together.
To prevent color striping, work with two balls of yarn, alternating skeins every two rows. At the beginning of every right-side row, pick up the working yarn from two rows below, making sure to pick up the new yarn from behind the old yarn.
