RED Lace surgical stainless steel circulars have a smooth, satin-sheen finish and memory-free, multi-strand, steel, nylon-coated, red cable. Lace tips are machine-precisioned. Needle size is laser imprinted on each circular.

New knitter and first time using circular needles, and like them a lot. Less clumsy that regular needles. My first top-down, knitted-in-the-round jumper is half done and sitting on them now.
I’m with Carol on the size labelling—but then again, the size printing on all my needles is very hard to read no matter the manufacturer. I’d like to see a size-based color-coding system. Other than that, I disagree on the finish. I’d trade my Addi sock rockets for these ChaioGoo needles any day. The coup d’grace is the cable though. The no-memory aspect of the ChaioGoo plus the incredibly smooth joins won me over the first pair of socks I knit. Love these!
ChiaoGoo Red Lace Circular Knitting Needles 40" (100cm)
I tried them on a cotton blend sock yarn and the needles and the cords were too sticky. Nothing would slide. Then I tried a wool blend sock yarn and there was a big difference. Nice and slippery. The cords are very flexible, which makes them great for two at a time magic loop. The tips are sharper than Addi turbo sock rockets, so great for lace. I prefer the coating on the Addi turbo sock rockets over the stainless steel ChiaoGoo's. The joins are smoother on the ChiaoGoo's. The labeling is so indistinct I don't know how anyone could read it. So I'll give them 4 out of 5 stars.
Thank you Carol for this detailed and helpful review ♥
I love these needles. The tips are sharp, The joins are smooth and the cable is weighty enough that they (and any knitting in them) aren’t flying around as you knit.
