The Diaphane Hat by Louise Robert is a perfect project to get to know self-striping yarn or to appreciate its beauty.
Made with a double strand of our Bis-Sock self-striping yarn and Kid Silk, this hat will keep you warm and cozy during the coldest times.
To knit this pattern, I used a yarn that produces stripes from our self-striping collection that I doubled with a very fine mohair yarn. - Louise Robert
The mixture of the two yarns produces a fluffy result where the colors blend together in a diaphanous effect that is as soft to look at as it is to touch.
You can purchase the pattern only or the knitting kit, which contains both the yarn and the pattern needed to knit this project!
