Here is another Louise Robert design offered free of charge by Biscotte Yarns. As rich in the composition of its texture as its amber and golden colors, this voluptuous scarf will charm you with its style and versatility. Wear it as a shoulder warmer, wrap it twice around your neck like a scarf, and if you accidentally get caught in unexpected cold weather, wear it as a hood to keep your head warm.

The photos hardly do justice to the beauty of the mixture of fibers and colors: mohair, stellina, merino, cashmere and silk ... it is absolutely necessary to see it to understand how this combination is exquisite! The model is rather easy to make since it is made using knit stitches, purl stitches and a simple basic brioche stitch without any increase or decrease, all knit in the round on a needle of the same circumference as the neck.

The name of the model is a small nod to the character of a series that I watched with my son a few years ago: Once upon a time. For a few years, during the Christmas holidays, we had the habit of watching this series together just him and me and Rumpelstilskin was our favorite character ... I hold a very beautiful memory.

In addition to the pattern, you will need the following to knit this cowl:

Gauge : 16 stitches = 10 cm – 4 inches, knit in garter stitch with the double yarn (Fizwizbiz & Hermione).

NECK CIRCUMFERENCE : 100 cm (40 inches)

This pattern is offered free of charge: simply add the pattern to your cart and follow every steps to place a $0 order. A link to download your free pattern will be sent by email upon complete order.

ERRATUM 2019-01-21: Under "BEGIN GARTER STITCH" section, after you join to work in the round, next row with B must be PURL (correction is highlighted in yellow) Thank you!

Loving the pattern

I am currently knitting this pattern and really enjoying it. I plan to knit at least two more for gifts and would love to knit even more in other colors. This is a great pattern. It’s easy to follow and knit.

Beautiful and easy to follow instructions....doesn't seem to be difficult for brioche knitting. Thanks for the free pattern.
