Socks Pattern Lakeside Retreat
This wonderful top-down fairisle sock pattern is a design by Lisa K. Ross for Biscotte Yarns.

These socks are inspired by the serene moments enjoyed by the lakeside.The rhythmic repeatable patterning creates satisfying results, while the cool colors and sparkle of Biscotte’s self-striping Lumos yarn produce dazzling results. You might not be able to get away from it all, but these socks are sure to capture the spirit of your own Lakeside Retreat.
In addition to the pattern, you will need the following material to knit these socks:
- Biscotte Yarns - Lumos Self-Stirping Iceland (100g) CAN BE SUBSTITUTE FOR BIS-SOCK YARN
- Biscotte Yarns - Flamel Semi-Solid Lagon (50g) CAN BE SUBSTITUTE FOR BIS-SOCK YARN
- DPN or circular needles of 2.25 mm (US#1) and 2.75 mm (US#2) or size needed to obtain gauge.
- 2 stitch markers
- 1 tapestry needle
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS S (M, L)
Foot Circumference: 8 (9, 10) inches / 20.5 (23, 25.5) cm
Foot Length: adjustable to fit
Leg Length: adjustable to fit
GAUGE (after blocking)
32 sts/48 rounds = 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette stitch on smaller needles
32 sts/32 rounds = 4 inches/10 cm in colorwork pattern on larger needles
