NOTE
Queen of Spades is knitted bottom up in the round and then separated at the armholes. The upper body is worked flat. The shoulders are seamed with a 3-needles bind off. The hem and neckline are worked with a double brim and an icord bind off, respectively, while the flat stockinette of the armholes allows for the edges to roll in and hide the sides of your work. These details give the tank a refined look at the edges, but the hem and neckline can be tricky to work. If you want to replace the neckline, use a regular bind off instead of the icord bind off. If you want to replace the hem, cast on the specified number of sts, join to work in the round, work 10 rounds of stockinette and then begin with the Body instructions. This hem replacement will result in a curled edge to your work. There are many methods for provisional cast ons, you can use whichever you prefer. I have two favourite methods, one that uses a crochet hook and one that just uses knitting needles.
