Byzantin Shawl | Knitting pattern with Optional Kits

The Byzantine Shawl has undergone a stunning refresh after eight years, and it is now ready to be lovingly knitted by you! Experience the elegance and beauty of this timeless piece, and let your creativity shine as you bring it to life.

This pattern was written and knitted in 2017 with Biscotte Yarns. At the time, I used DK Pure to highlight the different types colors available in our collection of hand-dyed wools: Self-striping🅪 , semi-solid color and Speckled.

Today, I'm delighted to present this pattern in a new guise, where the DK Pure wool has been replaced by a beautiful blend of two wools knitted together: Merica combined with Kid Silk. Combining these two yarns produces extraordinary colors and textures! - Louise Robert

IN ADDITION TO THIS KNITTING KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS

• Circular needles of 4.5mm (US 7) - Or size required to obtain gauge
  
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle
  

GAUGE

20 stitches = 10 cm (4") in stockinette stitch before blocking.

SIZE - ONE SIZE

• Knitted length after blocking: 193 cm (76")
• Knitted width after blocking: 61 cm (24")
