This hand-dyed artisanal yarn is no ordinary knitting yarn: the designer behind the knitting patterns Louise Robert Design meticulously created this beautiful collection.

It's by studying the color pallets that represent her life and career over the years that designer Louise Robert was able to imagine all of the variety available in these hand-dyed artisanal yarns.

LOCH is a Gaelic word that designates a body of water such as a lake or a bay. The most famous is, without a doubt, Loch Ness, located in the Highlands of Scotland. Knowing my interest in the Celtic countries, you will quickly understand where I got the inspiration for this color. - Louise

  • Composition: 70% Merino wool, 30% Hemp
  • Quantity (Weight): 100 grams, 3,5 oz
  • Length: 300 meters (328 yds)
  • Gauge: 22 - 24 stitches = 10 cm (4 in)
  • Needles: 3,5 mm (US #4)
  • Care: Machine wash on gentle cycle in cold water. Machine dry: This yarn has the property of stretching a lot when wet and regaining its shape when machine dried. Granola Parchemin

This color of Granola yarn is beautiful.
Granola is a fun yarn to work with and Parchemin reminds me of a perfectly churned butter. The color is creamy and has beautiful rich tones throughout. I love wearing it. Granola is so nice next to my skin and this color just makes me feel special.

Granola Waterhouse

Perfect color. This is a fabulous yarn and the color Waterhouse is marvelous. I used it in the pattern Free Spirit as main color with Parchemin, KLMT, and Traviata. This color combination in this gorgeous yarn was wonderful. I don’t know which ILOVE more, knitting with Granola or wearing it!

Fabulous Yarn

Love this yarn. Granola’s Traviata is a gorgeous color. It blends so well with so many of the other colors. I used it with KLMT, Parchemin, and Waterhouse for Free Spirit. Perfect combo. Love knitting with it.

I bought two of them to compliment a turquoise colored yarn I already had to make the Brick Pullover. It is really blossoming into quite an exquisite top! So happy with my purchase and would definitely buy it again.

Title evokes the color of thistle. Pretty color.

The yarn with the hemp fibers is soft and pleasant to work with for knitting.
