Laines du Sud (South Wools) is a family-owned company specializing in merino wool from the South of Argentina.

This 100% Natural Merino wool can be used for arm knitting, hand spinning, or thrum mittens. The wool divides easily, allowing you to knit thinner strips.

As the roving comes from different merino sheep, the color will vary from one to the other, making each piece unique.

Let your creativity run wild and create with the natural goodness of merino wool.

Choose your color first. Then, choose the amount of roving you would like by weight.

It's about 3.5-5 meters (11.5 - 16 feet) per 100g. The yarn is sold by weight, and the length may vary depending on the thickness of the roving.

How to take care of your finished projects and minimize lint:

It is normal for your project to get lint. You can take it out gently with your hand, never with scissors. Over time the lint will disappear. Also, to avoid lint, you can use a fixative spray for hair.

It is recommended to dry clean. Do not machine wash.

The bag of 2.5 kg is sufficient to make the blanket as shown in pictures - approximate dimension:  170 cm X 60 cm (67'' X 23.5'')

This video tutorial demonstrates how you can knit roving without using needles. Although the subtitles are in French, the visuals are easy to follow, and you can learn how to cast-on stitches and knit with your fingers effortlessly.
