Learn to knit in the round with Biscotte's fingerless mitts

I downloaded this to help my god-daughter, whom I am teaching to knit, to continue to learn to understand instructions and knit in the round. I have taught her on DPN's, I dont do the magic loop, so using a circ was a bit confusing, so we decided to ignore that bit prefering DPN. The american terminology is new to her too. I have already taught her to always check patterns as they may not always be English terms.

We do not like the thumb!!! But otherwise the pattern is helpful supportive learning curve.

The pattern is written very clearly and easy to understand. Done with one mitt already and looks great :)

Magic Loop great technique to learn

Well written and illustrated. Thank you. I continue to prefer 2 circular needles for socks and knitting in the round but I realize that is limited by needing two identical needles (except maybe in length).
