Here is the latest design by Louise Robert: the Solstice Shawl! This stunning piece is crafted by double stranding a Fizwizbiz yarn and a Petite Suri yarn for a more appealing and comfortable look. These two yarns contrast beautifully, and mixing in your favorite colors will only enhance its charm! We also offer two sizes for you to choose which style fits you best. What are you waiting for?
Just as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, this design begins from a single point, gently ascending to a glorious peak before gracefully descending to its conclusion. Similar to the solstice, which celebrates the profound duality of the longest and shortest days, I present this design in two inspiring versions: Summer Solstice, a larger shawl radiating warm, orange tones, and Winter Solstice, which captures the beauty of a deep blue night's reflection. May this design serve as a reminder of the cycles of life and the endless possibilities that each season brings. -Louise Robert

NOTE
This shawl is knitted horizontally, starting with a point that gradually increases at the beginning of the right-side rows while working in a stitch pattern. When the desired width is reached, the stitches progressively decrease at the beginning of the right-side rows until the final point is reached. The edges of the shawl are worked according to the i-cord technique. This type of edging is achieved by slipping the last three stitches of each row while holding the yarn in front of the work.
The pattern is available in two sizes, with the larger one created by repeating rows 21 to 36 of the central grid. Check your gauge, as this version uses the entire two skeins of Fizwizbiz yarn. The small size used 68 g of Fizwizbiz and 28 g of Petite Suri. You may repeat rows 21 to 36 of the central grid more than once if you can weigh your yarn along the way, not to consume more than half your skeins. The stitch pattern is available in both chart and written form, so you can follow the instructions in your preferred format.
