Lumina Shawl | Free Knitting pattern and Optional Kit

You have the option to purchase the pattern only or the knitting kit, which contains both the yarn and the pattern needed to knit this project!

THIS KNITTING KIT INCLUDES

• The Lumina Shawl knitting pattern (sent as a digital pdf format) - The pattern is included when you purchase a kit.
• JUNIPER MOON - LUMINA [62% wool, 23% Polyamide, 15% Polyester, 160m per 100g skein] - 1 SKEIN - shown in #308 Electra

IN ADDITION TO THIS KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS

• Circular needles of 6.5 mm (US 10.5) - cable length of 100 cm (40'') - or size required to obtain the gauge.
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers

SIZE - ONE SIZE

• Final width dimensions (after blocking) : 117 cm; 46’’.
• Final height dimensions (after blocking) : 53 cm / 21''.

GAUGE

9 stitches = 10 cm (4'') in stockinette stitch after blocking. 

NOTE

This shawl begins with a garter-tab cast-on. A video tutorial on this method is available here: Biscotte.org/garter-tab. That said, if you don't feel comfortable with this method, you can simply cast on 9 sts.  Have fun!
