Flocon Socks | Knitting pattern and Optional kit

 We are delighted to introduce the Flocon Socks, a charming sock pattern designed by Louise Robert and inspired by winter’s delicate details. First released in 2009, this beloved design returns in a refreshed edition, now knit with our new Bling yarn!

You have the option to purchase the pattern only or the knitting kit, which contains both the yarn and the pattern needed to knit this project!

THIS KNITTING KIT INCLUDES

• The Flocon Socks knitting pattern (sent as a digital pdf format) - The pattern is included when you purchase a kit.
• BISCOTTE YARNS - BLING [92% merino wool sw, 5% polyester neps & 3% lurex; 400m per 100 g] - 1 SKEIN - shown in Nature (white) and in an exclusive color (green)

IN ADDITION TO THIS KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS

• DPN or Circular needles (with cable lenght of 80cm (32'') for magic loop) of 2.5 mm (US 1) - or size required to obtain the gauge.
• Stitch markers (3)
• Tapestry needle
  

SIZES - ONE SIZE

The length of the foot is adjustable.

GAUGE

32 stitches = 10 cm (4'') in Stockinette Stitch after blocking.

NOTE

In the original version, the pattern for this sock was only knitted on the front of the leg. I made this choice to preserve the elasticity of the sock. 

When updating the pattern, an "error" crept into the instructions, and the pattern was knitted on both the front and back of the leg.  

This new knitted version has shown that there is still enough elasticity to slip your foot in without difficulty.  

Therefore, you are free to knit whichever version you prefer!
