Here is an exciting refreshed version of one of Louise Robert's exquisite designs, generously offered free of charge by Biscotte Yarns in 2018.
This luxurious scarf, the Rumpelstilskin Cowl rich in texture and featuring stunning hand-dyed colors, will captivate you with its style and versatility. You can wear it as a wrap over your shoulder, wrap it around your neck twice as a cowl for extra warmth, or even use it as a hood if you find yourself unexpectedly facing cold weather.
The photos don't fully capture the beauty of the fiber and color combination, which includes mohair, stellina, merino, cashmere, and silk. It truly needs to be seen in person to appreciate its exquisite quality! The design is relatively easy to knit, as it primarily uses knit stitches, purl stitches, and a basic brioche stitch, all worked in the round on a needle with the same circumference as the work.
The model’s name is a small nod to a character from a series I enjoyed watching with my son a few years ago: "Once Upon a Time." During the Christmas holidays, we often sat down to watch this show together, just the two of us, and Rumpelstiltskin was our favorite character.
