Fléchées Mittens | Free Knitting pattern and Optional kit

Designed by Louise Robert to perfectly complement her Héritage Hat, the Fléchées Mittens complete the look with a timeless, heritage-inspired style.

The knitting pattern is available for free, and you also have the option to purchase a yarn kit to knit the mittens using the recommended yarns.

NOTIONS

• DPN’s or Circular needle of 5.5 mm (US 9) - or size needed to obtain gauge.
• DPN’s or Circular needle of 4 mm (US 6) - or 1.5 mm smaller than the size needed to obtain  gauge.
• Stitch holder or waste yarn
• Tapestry needle

SIZE - S/M (L/XL)

• Circumference of the hand unstretched: 18 (20) cm; 7 (8)".
• Length (from the cast-on round to the tip): 24 (25.5) cm; 9 ½ (10)". 

GAUGE

20 sts x 25 rows = 10 cm (4") worked in the round, in Fairisle on 5.5 mm (US 9). 

☆ NOTE ☆

These mittens are worked from the bottom up by following the chart provided at the end of the pattern. There are two charts—one for each size —and the thumb gusset is worked at the beginning of each round. 
There are no left or right mittens, as both mittens are worked in the same manner.
