Made of beautiful Mango wood, these Drop Spindles are a beautiful tool to learn the art of making your own yarn! Each Spindle comes in two pieces – simply insert the shaft into the whorl, and you're ready to start spinning! Natural wax finish.


Shaft is approximately 11.5" tall, whorl is approximately 3.5" in diameter, and each spindle weighs approximately 55g.

My Drop Spindle Adventure

I never enjoyed using a drop spindle until I took a spinning course at Biscotte. Once you learn the proper way to use the drop spindle, the process is fun. The beauty of a drop spindle is that it's "tote-able". You can take it with you in the car, on vacation, in the park and spin yarn while relaxing.
I'm glad I made the purchase.
