Yves Klein's distinctive ultramarine blue, known as IKB, is named after him because he created a unique formula that he used extensively in his artwork. In 1957, he trademarked this specific shade, solidifying its identity as his own. Klein's deep admiration for the sky and its limitless nature fueled his passion for blue, allowing him to express his vision of the world.
