Tuffy is Great Yarn

I have an Etsy site (DoDabbler) where I sell Fisherman Socks that I make from the Tuffy yarn. It is sturdy, beautiful colors and warm and I love knitting with it.

Finally finding worsted weight wool yarn with a bit of nylon for durability was wonderful. I wanted to make boot/work socks for my guys and now I am. Just hope they remember not to toss them in the washing machine.

Great for boot socks!

I knitted some boot socks because my feet are always cold! This yarn will do the trick. It was a pleasure to knit with, it’s stiff and on the coarse side but after a nice blocking with wool wash it’s exactly what I was looking for.

awesome for boot socks

have a list a mile long for boot socks-- several family members work outdoors in very cold weather, and this thicker wool yarn with nylon to make it last, is awesome! will order more when I'm almost done with this order. Thank you Biscotte!
