Description

Make a statement with the Rehoboth cardigan pattern by Donna Estin! Its bold and fun stripes come together in an unpredictable fashion to give your look an eye-catching twist.

"One of the strongest trends emerging in 2023 is stripes, and Rehoboth Cardigan uses color to bring out the best in this trend. Bold, thick-and-thin stripes meet in opposing fashion to keep this cardigan fun and unpredictable. A center panel of slipped rib runs the length of the center of the back and hides the color changes to keep the front edges tidy. The deep bottom hem is worked in corrugated rib with bands of bright colors fading in and out in the purl stitches. A special technique is used to prevent bi-colored purl bumps so the colors meet flush at the color change." - Donna Estin

At the underarms, sleeves are put on hold; then the body is worked using increases for hip shaping down to the corrugated rib at the bottom. Sleeves are worked in the round down to the corrugated ribbed cuff. Stitches are picked up along each front and back neck and worked in single ribbing.
