Description

Biscotte Yarns is proud to share this new shawl design free of charge : an original design by Louise Robert!

I have had this idea of a shawl in my mind for a long time: a chevron shawl pattern knitted horizontally to play with zig-zagging bands while having fun with colors & textures.

Since the use of yarns, colors and stitch patterns is mostly improvised, I had to bring myself to write this pattern row by row!

Those who like to follow patterns verbatim will be thrilled. If you prefer visual charts reading, consider this pattern as a starting guide: once you will have started the first rows, you will quickly understand the construction and rhythm of the design so you may decide to diverge from the written instructions and use your inspiration to modify the instructions as you wish. - Louise

I am loving this pattern! Although it is long (21 pages) I have not lost interest in it. I am using 2 skeins of hand dyed yarn that I bought because I loved the colors with no pattern in mind. I have added stash yarn to it. Really enjoying this pattern.
