The Taos Tributary Sock by Amy Gunderson is perfect to use Bis-Sock Self-Striping yarn as the contrasting color for the background! The graphic patterning created in this sock is worked through strategic slipped stitches! Only one color per round is used.
Colors are changed every other round in the patterned portions of the sock. Slip all stitches purlwise with yarn held to the wrong side of the work. These socks are knit from the top down.
In addition to the pattern, you will need the following to knit the socks:
Biscotte Yarns | Bis Sock (85% merino superwash, 15% nylon; 100g/400m/435 yds)
- Lagon (MC) – 1 skein
- Peacock feather (CC) – 1 skein
Needles: US Size 2 (2.75 mm) set of 5 dpns or size needed to obtain gauge and US Size 1 (2.25 mm) set of dpns
