Designed by Andrea Yetman, the Sock Mitts are made from our soft and warm 100% Merino Worsted yarn.

Get ready for some cozy, beginner-friendly mittens! These mittens allow you to knit effortlessly on the go while keeping your hands warm.

You can purchase the pattern only or the knitting kit containing both the required yarn and the pattern!

Here is what you need to knit this project:

  • The Sock Mitts knitting pattern (sent as a PDF numeric file) - The pattern is included when you purchase a kit.
  • Louise Robert Collection - MERINO WORSTED (100% untreated merino Rambouillet; 412 m / 100 g) - 2x 100g skeins of contrasting color - shown in :
    • MC - Green Grows
    • CC - Parchemin

To complete this knitting project, you will require these additional accessories along with the knitting kit:

SIZES AVAILABLE IN THE PATTERN - Adult one size - Length of hand adjustable.

GAUGE: 12sts and 17 rows = 5 cm – 2 inches

NOTE: These mitts are worked from the cuff down in the round. There is no thumb gusset, making them very beginner-friendly and highly comfortable. They allow your hands to knit while out and about and keep them warm. The mitt flap is joined and then worked in the round. An I-cord loop and button are attached at the top of the mitt to help keep the flap in place when not covering your fingers.

This pattern is sold in a digital PDF format: a link to download your pattern will be provided once the order is completed, and you will also get this link by email (make sure to check your spam if you can't find the email in your inbox)

2024-04-12: The garther stitch for the flap part of the mitten has been added.
