Nouvelle Twist | Shawl Pattern

Biscotte Yarns is pleased to present  the latest pattern of Jill from Knit Sisu. This beautiful pattern knitted with ALBUS yarn is perfect to warm you softly.

This asymmetric triangular shawl has an easy-to-remember garter stitch and cable pattern which creates a soft drape of wool and silk.

In addition to the pattern, you need the following materials to knit the Nouvelle Twist Shawl pattern :

YARNS

Biscotte Yarns – Albus (50% merino wool, 50% silk; 100 grams /3.5 oz; 150 meters /164 yards) – 4 skeins. Sample shown in Aigue Marine.

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS

• 5.0 mm (US 8) circular needle; 80 - 100 cm / 32-40 in. or size needed to get the gauge
• Cable needle

GAUGE

9 sts and 4 rows = 5 cm / 2 in. worked over garter stitch, after gentle blocking

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

Width 135 cm/53 in. along the diagonal increase edge, 81cm /32 in. along BO edge, Length 112 cm /44 in. along the remaining side edge.
