Discover the beautiful wrap by Ashleigh Wempe. This pattern is knitted with Merino Worsted from the Louise Robert collection and is perfect for keeping you warm all winter.

In her pattern, Ashley offers us the knitting pattern in two formats: grid version and written version so you can follow the instructions in the format you prefer!

"Daycare pickup is always the highlight of my day. Most days my daughter is playing outside with her friends, they all run to the chain link fence to greet parents as they arrive in the afternoons. The pure joy and excitement on their faces fills my heart with joy. This wrap, a combination of simple cables, and twisted stitches reminds me of this sweet memory that happens every day at the fence." Ashleigh Wempe

In addition to the pattern, you need the following materials to knit the Linked shawl:

GAUGE : 16 sts and 22 rows = 10 cm / 4" in stockinette stitch on 4.50 mm (US #7) needles after blocking.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS : Width: 48.2 cm / 19” & Length: 221 cm /87”

NOTE : Pattern is worked flat, back and forth along the short edge.

ENJOY! ♥

One down, two to go!

I love this pattern very much! It is easy to follow the very clear instructions. This is the first of three I’ll knit this winter. This one is in Malabrigo Rios, and the next two will be one in “Irish Girl,” and the other in “Patsy Cline.” For this one, the request was to make it smaller and more scarf-like. I did so by using smaller needles. This worked well! I look forward to making the next one full size. So glad I saw the episode introducing this pattern on YouTube! Happy new year!
